HOW DOES PRE-ORDER WORK?
Each MARAIS bag is crafted by hand and we make 100 at a time. We do not require a deposit and your card will not be charged. Your card will be used to hold your spot and will only be charged once your bag is in production. You will be notified by email when your bag is in the work and when it's on the way.
WHEN WILL MY PRE-ORDER SHIP?
Your bags will be shipped within 2-4 weeks after we begin to work on your bags. The production will start right after the pre-order deadline. You will receive an email to let you know that your bag is in production. Orders from U.S. and Canada typically arrive within 4-7 business days. International orders typically arrive within 5-10 business days.
WHAT’S THE STATUS OF MY ORDER?
We will send you an email every step of the way to let you know the progress of the order. Once you’ve received your shipping confirmation email, you will have the ability to track your package on the corresponding shipping carrier's website.
CAN I CANCEL OR MODIFY MY ORDER?
If you have any modification requests or need to cancel, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible after placing your pre-order. Since every bag is made to order, once we have begun to work on your bag, the order cannot be cancelled or modified.
WHAT IF THE PRODUCT IS DAMAGED WHEN IT ARRIVES?
We are happy to help with damaged items. Please email us pictures, a brief description of the damage, the order number, and your shipping information to email@example.com. We will follow up with next steps as soon as possible. We will determine the best resolution and may ask to see the product in person before making a decision. Please note that we will not take damages from normal wear and tear, such as staining or damaged leather due to use.
WHAT SHIPPING OPTIONS DO YOU OFFER?
We are happy to offer complimentary ground shipping for orders with delivery addresses within the U.S. and Canada, typically arriving within 4-7 business days. International orders are shipped at a flat rate shipping charge and typically arriving within 5-10 business days. Note that MARAIS is not responsible for lost items once a package has been delivered and/or signed for.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
We accept returns of unused products within 15 calendar days after it’s delivered to you (please see below for instructions). If you are in U.S. and Canada we will provide you with a prepaid return waybill, so you can ship it back to us at no cost. To return a product, the tag must be attached and all accessories are present and the products is unused. If we receive a return and it has been used or damaged, or if the tag and/or accessories are missing, we cannot accept your return. You can request to have it shipped back at your expense.
Your refund will be credited to the same form of payment used to make the purchase. Returns postmarked outside of the 15 day policy are ineligible for a refund.
HOW DO I MAKE A RETURN?
Please email email@example.com with your Order # in the Subject line, reason for return as well as a photo of the product. We’ll respond promptly with next steps to manage your return.
WHEN CAN I EXPECT MY REFUND?
Once we receive your return, please allow 3-5 business days for your return to be fully processed. Once your return has been processed, please allow an additional 5-10 days for your bank to post the refund to your account. We can only issue credits back to the original form of payment. Once the return has been processed we will send you an email so you know it’s on its way.
